Why Join ALHA?

With a combination of Members-At-Large membership and members who participate in our active chapters, we are focused on encouraging our members to invest in themselves by joining ALHA.

Our active chapters meet monthly for breakfast, lunch or evening meetings.  Industry related speakers keep our members up to date on the latest life and health legislative issues and provide some great networking opportunities.

If you'd like more information about joining one of our local chapters or would like to join as a Member-at-Large, please contact our National Treasurer/Records Director by email at kristin.daigle@xerox.com.

EDUCATION

ALHA promotes personal and professional development.

We encourage and/or provide a educational resource for continuing education of its members through participation in training classes and enrolling in industry related programs and obtain industry related designations such as  FLMI, CLU and HIA.

Our members are recognized for successfully completing courses, obtaining industry related designations and obtaining their life and health insurance licenses.

FELLOWSHIP

ALHA fosters a personal and professional network.

At monthly meetings ALHA members from different companies  and affiliated service organizations have the opportunity to network and learn from each other.

In addition, the environment is excellent for development of leadership skills and promotes the understanding and use of mentoring.

Many industry related topics are discussed during our local chapter meetings or during one of our FREE Educational Calls.

COOPERATION

ALHA's relationships with other industry organizations is a invaluable tool for our members.

Many of our members volunteer time and service to assist other insurance industry organizations in their local events. ALHA joins the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Association of Health Underwriters and their local chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals to strengthen the insurance profession.

SERVICE

ALHA enhances a members value in the community.

One of ALHA’s goals is to serve the greater community. Some of the  organizations that benefit from this service include the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, local shelters and community  education centers.
